Ryan Meets the Governor

Governor RichardonUpdate: I was able to get the picts off the phone.

Ryan didn't have school this past Tuesday due to the mid-term election. For security reasons, schools across the country have decided that it's a big risk to have kids in class with adults coming in and out of the school to vote.

my fantasy football cap

It looks like I have a good team, but they got off to a bad start. I'm down by 11 points and my opponent has Peyton Manning and Plaxico Burress left to play—stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Charlie Batch congratulates Heath Miller

Mr. Parker may be "Fast Willy" but Hop-a-long Heath showed that he's got wheels too!

It wasn't pretty, but a dub-ya's a dub-ya (insert political wise cracks here). After hearing about Big Ben's emergency apendectomy earlier this week, I was a bit worried about the Steelers chances against the Dolphins. Charlie Batch got off to a slow start but did a pretty good job of protecting the ball, with that one glaring exception at the goal line.

WOXY's second (last?) goodbye :-(

From woxy.com

"This sucks.

This is the moment all of us hoped would never come. After plugging away at this for the past two years, it’s become pretty clear that operating woxy.com as a stand-alone Internet 'radio station' is not going to cut it. Our operating costs are higher than you might think, and the revenue we were able to generate from advertising isn’t close to supporting what we’re doing. Even membership revenue wasn’t enough to get us there. When your business doesn’t make money, you eventually go out of business."
