Submitted by Chad on January 16, 2006 - 3:43pm

My heart nearly stopped with a little over a minute left in the Steelers/Colts playoff game today. This was the kind of game that put fans of both teams through an emothional rollercoaster ride right up to the last thirty seconds.

Wannabe radio star

Submitted by Amy on January 1, 2006 - 6:41am

I have always loved listening to the radio. Not the huge corporate radio stations that play the same songs every hour, but local radio stations that are in touch with the community. I can remember listening to a station, KWON, in Bartlesville, and having a crush on a particular DJ, purely based on his voice and how he conveyed a sense of knowing everyone who was listening. I used to imagine becoming a news announcer for an NPR station. I dont know how or why I didn't follow this dream, but there you go.

It's an annual tradition at the Montessori Childrens House. Each year the staff interviews the kids and Amy and I are intrigued by Owen's responses this year.

A new family member

Note: I lost a significant portion of this post at some point. I rewrote what I thought I had written.

I grew up in a house that always had a dog. Alphie was the first in a line of terrier/poodle mixes in our household. Clifford came next and is the dog I remember always being there waiting for me after school.
