Congratulations to my cousin Derek and his wife Kris on the birth of their first child, Alexis Marie Kieffer (5lbs. 10oz.). Alexis is the second girl born to this generation of Kieffers along with my sister's newborn daughter Kari. My sister, Cindy, was the only girl among 5 boys in my generation. It's nice to see the gender balance change! I haven't had a chance to talk to Derek or Kris yet but I think everyone's doing okay. I'll try to update this page after I talk to Derek.
